What CashFlow stores, what the dashboard adds on top, how long it is kept, and how to get it deleted. Written from what the code actually does.
Who we are
CashFlow is a free economy bot for Discord, built and run by Phase & Cipher, a small development team. We operate the bot and the dashboard at cashflow.pcdev.info.
What the bot stores
CashFlow stores the minimum needed to keep an economy going between restarts. Every server's data is kept separate, so balances never cross from one server to another.

What the dashboard stores
The dashboard at cashflow.pcdev.info shows your portfolio and your server's economy in a browser. To render that without asking Discord on every page load, it keeps a synced copy of the figures above, plus two things the bot itself does not need:

Signing in uses Discord's own login. We never see or store your Discord password, and we do not ask for your email.
What we never do
- CashFlow does not read, log or store message content. It only sees the commands you run.
- We do not store your email, your IP address or your payment details, because we never receive them.
- There is nothing to buy in CashFlow. No premium currency, no real money, no purchases.
- We do not sell, rent or share anything with advertisers. There are no ads and no trackers.
- The in-game money is not money. It has no value and cannot be exchanged for anything real.
Where it is kept
Balances live with the bot on hardware we run. The dashboard copy lives in a Cloudflare D1 database in Cloudflare's infrastructure. Access is limited to the people who run Phase & Cipher, and we look only when we are fixing something or answering you.
How long it is kept
Your balance is kept for as long as CashFlow is in that server, because an economy that forgets your balance is not an economy. Login sessions expire on their own. If CashFlow is removed from a server, that server's data is deleted on request and cleared in routine maintenance regardless.
Getting data removed
Ask us and we will wipe your account in a given server, or across every server, whichever you want. A server owner can ask for their whole server's economy to be reset or deleted. We do not charge for this and we do not make you jump through anything.
Changes to this policy
If CashFlow starts storing something it does not store today, this page changes before the feature ships. The date at the top is the honest one.
